here are a few things that you will need to know about my class.
Supplies
Bring to class EVERYDAY in your school binder. Pencil bag(not a box) w/ Pencils, Erasers, Map Pencils, Glue, scissors, highlighters, sticky notes. 2 Composition Notebook {1 for notes & 1 for reading reflections} A wireless mouse and earbuds will be helpful, keep the set in a pencil bag hanging in your locker for when they are needed. (almost all classes use some form of technology) |

PROJECTS
As project are given they will count as a major grade. All projects will be presented to the class, either in groups or individually based on the assignment. Work is not graded on content alone, presentation and participation will be factored in. Projects should be completed by the due date, presentations will will continue for 2-3 days following the due date. Do Not Procrastinate! *Projects not accepted late. StudySync Workbook

Classroom Procedures
Entry
- Students are to wait in the hall, lined up against the wall, for class to begin.
- Once you enter move to your seat with all materials as quickly and quietly as possible.
- Respect your peers personal space when entering the room, do not push or crowd each other.
- All homework is to be turned in at the beginning of class.
- When using chromebooks wait patiently for the person in front of you to get theirs, do not crowd, respect each others personal space.
During Class
-Name, Date, and Class will be on every page turned in. (-10 point for NO NAME, -5 for incomplete heading)
-”Look and Listen” means stop what you are doing and look at me, I need to speak to the class.
- Raise your hand, don’t blurt out. When speaking you must stand to help project your voice around the class..
- Bathroom breaks are to be taken care of during the 4 minute passing period. “Emergency” breaks can be taken during individual work time, not during instruction.
Exit
- Students will continue working until the teacher asks them to clean up.
- All materials will be put away neatly (leave your surroundings better than you found them).
- Once cleaned up, stay seated and wait to be released. You are not allowed to stand by the door and wait.
- Respect your peers personal space when leaving the room, do not push or crowd each other.
- The first to exit will open the door completely and put the door stop down.

- Map Pencils: use a hand sharpener over the trash can or keep a tissue on your desk to catch shavings.
- Do not walk around with scissors. Cut neatly and throw away all clippings when you finish.
- Glue should be used sparingly: use what you need nothing more.
- Teacher supplies can be used when needed and must be put back properly.
